About me
Connecting creative vision with strategic development.
Hi I’m Steven, a creative director, producer, and innovation strategist with over 15 years of experience developing international projects across the creative industries, technology, and environmental sustainability.
My career has taken me from leading major entertainment, creative innovation festivals and international markets to developing collaborations between artists, researchers, cultural institutions, and global organizations.
I've held leadership and strategic roles at MUTEK, Polaris Music Prize, Canadian Music Week (now Departure), and Mundial Montréal, where I've worked across creative production, international business development, programming, funding, and strategic partnerships.
Today, through my creative studio Mydas Greenworks, founded in Montréal, Canada and expanded to Turin, Italy - currently operating at the ARCA Studios hub, I'm exploring how art, science, and emerging technologies can come together to create meaningful cultural experiences and new opportunities for collaboration.

Mydas Greenworks is a Canadian-based creative studio and international business development company working at the intersection of art, technology, and environmental sustainability. Led by multidisciplinary producer Steven Dagenais Narváez, Mydas designs immersive programs, residencies and provides strategic consulting to arts and tech organizations seeking to integrate ecological impact into their work. Its flagship initiative, the Mydas Greenworks International Residency Program, hosts artists, technologists, and researchers in locations like Bali, the Galápagos, and Quebec for transformative, week-long intensives that combine AI, immersive media, and environmental fieldwork. Mydas also created hinter live, an award-winning audiovisual program that reforested over 8,000 trees in Canada, blending storytelling and climate action to inspire change.
With over 16 sessions that include Polaris Music Prize winner Pierre Kwenders, Pomme, Safia Nolin, Ouri, Korea Town Acid, OBUXUM, Moonshine’s San Farafina to name a few. The project was awarded by FACTOR Canada Support Live Music Events and nominated to the Music Cities Awards 2023 for Best Initiative Using Music to Support Environmental Sustainability presented by Sound Diplomacy.
