Steven Dagenais Narvaez (he/him) is a creative director, business and global brand developer, cultural strategist and sound designer from Quito, Ecuador, currently based in Tio'Tia:Ke/Montreal, Quebec. Steven works at the intersection of cultural industries, international affairs, technology and cutting-edge environmental practices that are deeply commitment to fostering cultural innovation, sustainability and business development on a global scale.
This intersectionality has allowed him to take leadership roles in creative direction, global brand development, cultural and political strategy including Director of Partnership and Advancement at The Polaris Music Prize, one of North America’s most prestigious prizes for artistic excellence, International Market Coordinator at MUTEK, the global festival dedicated to digital creativity in sound, music, and audiovisual art, Programmer and Curator of Professional Content at Mundial Montréal and the Artist Lab in collaboration with M for Montreal and former Festival Director for Canadian Music Week.
Steven has the founded and managed companies like hinter live studios and mydas greenworks business development consulting company that offers strategic development and ecological solutions to companies and non-profit organizations
In addition, Steven has contributed to education as a professor at the Berklee College of Music’s BIN School in Ecuador at San Francisco University and currently serves as a jury member for FACTOR Canada.

Mydas Greenworks is a Canadian-based creative studio and international business development company working at the intersection of art, technology, and environmental sustainability. Led by multidisciplinary producer Steven Dagenais Narváez, Mydas designs immersive programs, residencies and provides strategic consulting to arts and tech organizations seeking to integrate ecological impact into their work. Its flagship initiative, the Mydas Greenworks International Residency Program, hosts artists, technologists, and researchers in locations like Bali, the Galápagos, and Quebec for transformative, week-long intensives that combine AI, immersive media, and environmental fieldwork. Mydas also created hinter live, an award-winning audiovisual program that reforested over 8,000 trees in Canada, blending storytelling and climate action to inspire change.
With over 16 sessions that include Polaris Music Prize winner Pierre Kwenders, Pomme, Safia Nolin, Ouri, Korea Town Acid, OBUXUM, Moonshine’s San Farafina to name a few. The project was awarded by FACTOR Canada Support Live Music Events and nominated to the Music Cities Awards 2023 for Best Initiative Using Music to Support Environmental Sustainability presented by Sound Diplomacy.
